The class met in the Danger Shop again today. The Danger Shop was Pinkie's faaaaaaaaaaavorite. Though she wasn't really sure why it was called the "Danger Shop". It didn't have nearly enough danger in it at all for that name.

Anywho, the class started in a grassy field, through which a brightly colored sidewalk ran, snaking its way towards a grove of thick, spicy smelling trees. In the distance were snowy hills, and to one side, a rainbow colored path led off into another grove, this one full of twisted, black trees and bushes full of what looked like peanuts.

Because peanuts totally grew on bushes. Shut up.

Beyond all that were pastel castle turrets rising into the sky, and somewhere a Wurlitzer organ played a bright, happy tune.

You could get a sugar high off the very air, in here.

"Hihihihihi everypony!" Pinkie greeted. She was wearing her fancy gala dress and as usual looking far too pleased to be here, so early in the morning. "Welcome to CANDYLAND!"

That's right, people, you're playing human Candyland.

Are you lucky enough to land on the rainbow bridge? Are you scrupulous enough not to take the short cut anyway? Then welcome to the Gingerbread Forest, where all the trees are made of gingerbread and smiling at you. You could even take a bite out of one!

Pinkie does not guarantee the safety of anypony trying to eat the anthropomorphic candy trees.

It's a snowy one, full of peppermint poles and ruled over by Mr. Mint, a tall man wearing all red and white carrying an axe.

He's probably friendly. Probably.

There's another shortcut around here, somewhere. Also, a gumdrop dinosaur thing named "Jolly". And sticky patches of licorice that will ~~swallow you whole~~ make you lose a turn.

Tread carefully, adventurers.

Ruled over by the dashing ~~and villain mustachioed~~ Lord Licorice, the trees here are made of that most divisive of all candies. Move quickly here if you can; Lord Licorice looks like he's got a bit of a Robin Hood complex.

If you were lucky enough to catch the Rainbow Trail, this is where you'll end up. It's a quaint little peanut farm, tended by Gramma Nut and her weird little picnic basket dog thing.

Hope no one has any allergies.

So these aren't so much trees as giant lollipops set into the ground. Lolli the fairy is around here somewhere, she likes to flit from tree to tree and lick them all.

What, did you think you get any lollipops here? THOSE ARE HER LOLLIPOPS. SHE CLAIMED THEM.

There's more licorice pits to get caught in here, too. Which makes sense, since the colorful sidewalk through the licorice forest is actually only, like, three feet away from the one in the lollipop woods.

No, snow isn't a candy. Shut up.

Gloppy the swamp monster lives here. He wants to give you a big, sticky, chocolatey hug. Because who doesn't want to get smothered by a giant pile of melted chocolate, amirite?

Also, there's more licorice pits. Because the chocolate wasn't sticky and shoe-eating enough.

Congratulations, you made it! King Candy is here to greet you! He sure hopes you didn't cheat by not following the brightly colored sidewalk. He'd hate to have to throw you in the candy dungeon for the rest of class.

Try to, anyway. She's got quite the mouthful of candy, there.

Am I the only one who always found Candyland slightly creepy? It's the Mr. Mint. He's shifty.

Anywho, ping here if you would like interaction from any of the NPC candyland characters. Or just go around chewing the scenery. Either way.
