Cara had not set the Danger Shop up to resemble the preserve again today, huzzah!

Upon entering students might have noticed the large room, with its walls of sandstone and comfortable looking sofas scattered around, they might have noticed the bar with its wooden kegs and metal flasks, they might have noticed the tasteful silk hangings bordering doors and... artistic murals. But what they probably noticed was the number of highly attractive women (and men) wearing clothes that ranged from low-cut to scandalous to barely existent to requiring impressive feats of engineering not to fall off in a stiff breeze.

"Now it may happen that in the course of your heroing you'll need to conduct a manhunt," Cara said, looking suspiciously like the cat that'd gotten the canary in cream. "When your quarry is male, almost invariably your first and last stop on this chase will be the nearest brothel." Just in case there were any doubts about where exactly class was taking place today.

"Even on the exceedingly off chance you don't find your man," Cara's tone made it clear how likely she thought that wasn't. "Places like these are invaluable sources of local gossip and information because an astounding number of people loose all sense of discretion the moment sex is on the table."

"Today you have to charm the whereabouts of a miscreant you're chasing out of one of these lovely persons of negotiable virtue." Cara told them. "And I mean charm, anyone making trouble is liable to be tossed out on their ear. If they're lucky."

Alex would normally have been mortified by this assignment but due to going from a bad mood yesterday to being in a really great mood she didn't mind it so much.

A woman wearing a dress cut up to here and down to there, with cleavage that could best be described as generous, came far, far too close into Evan's personal space. "What can I do for you sweetheart?"

"I. Um. Um... I was looking for somebody, and I thought maybe you'd be able to help me with that," he managed, his pale cheeks taking on a flush of red that stood out as plain as day. "If you had some time..."

One of the very few problems with being equally susceptible to men and to women, as Anders was, was that the brothel offered twice as many opportunities for distraction for him as were available for his classmates who were firmer in their leanings.

He kept his eyes firmly above the neck as he smiled at one of the ... employees. "You look like someone who knows what's going on around here. Could I talk to you for a minute?"

Will didn't think of himself as a charming person. Not at all. So, when he wandered up to one of the girls and smiled, he pretty much knew he wasn't going to be successful on the first attempt.

She, however, did smile back so that was good! Right? Of course, as soon as he started talking, he leaned closer to her and knocked over a water that spilled onto her. And then she shoved his shoulder and walked off.

So, strike one!

Boy were Kathy's...emotions...getting a work out. On the one hand, no matter where she turned, there was a handsome guy to look at. On the other hand, she was surrounded by handsome guys. WHAT DO? WHAT DO?

On top of that, they were sex workers. Which meant they might not be here of their own free will! What if she was indirectly helping with their continued oppression!

...What if this was all just a sim and she shouldn't be taking it so seriously? What if she remembered that it was just a sim and got grumpier still because of all that wasted fretting?

Yeah, Kathy was definitely having some trouble.

Anyone suspecting this class is because someone wasn't allowed to skip today in order to seduce the TA would be wrong, but only because she always intended to inflict this class on you at some point.

Surreal was suspiciously close to stuffing her fist in her mouth to keep from laughing at, well, everything.

"I am supposed to be retired while I'm here," she reminded Cara as she sauntered over, gracefully sliding into a reclining position on the opposite divan. "As a recent grad, am I even allowed to proposition people during class?"

Hint, she wasn't talking about the students. Although it would be funny to make her little kitten, Evan, flail.
