The students are greeted as they enter not by Professor Dream*, but by a small pink kitten sitting on the desk next to the sign-in sheet. Well, they will be once someone looks directly at her. Until then, the small pink kitten? Adorable, but invisible.

A stack of Cat vocabulary sheets are sitting next to the adorable pink kitten. The following is written on the board behind her:

We will be having a very special class on Cat today. Please greet your guest speaker, me, Zero Hopeless-Savage.

1. Conversation. Talk with Kitty Zero on any subject. Your end of the conversation should ideally be in Cat, however, if your limited vocabulary or the limits of the human body prevent this, feel free to use English. Kitten Zero understands it. Since Cat is such a body language-intensive language, if your statement requires actions thought vulgar by humans, please use English. Then repeat back to Kitten Zero what you think she said, in English. She will tell you if you're correct or not.

If all else fails, one mew for yes, two for no.

2. Comprehension. Kitten Zero will recite a short passage. Record what you think she said.

3. Discussion. Ask Human Zero about facets of the Cat language or Cat culture you would like to know more about. Please remember that her experience is limited.

*Unless Professor Dream is present.

Blair signs in and gives kitty!Zero a couple of soft pets before sitting down.

Vicotr signs in and gives kitten!Zero some scritches. "You're so cute!"

Molly signed in and gave kitten!Zero a few quick pets. "You're pink! That is so cool!"

Walter signs in and strokes the cute pink kitten carefully between the eyes.

The pink kitten crosses her eyes to see Walter's finger. Awww.

Jake signs in and kitten!Zero got skritched.

*GLARE*

*IGNORES! but is secretly victorious*

Paige signs in and strokes Kitty!Zero softly on the head, and says //hey Zero// in Cat

/Hey, Paige. Have fun with this one./

Paige smiles, /sorry I couldn't help more and yeah I plan too, yay for not having to speak rat!/

That's right there's a cat word for yay!

Xander signed in and may have actually made 'd'awwwww' noises. He was willing to bribe girl!Zero to never tell anyone ever.

Kitty!Zero hid her nose behind one paw in the kitty version of a snicker. This was not included on the vocabulary sheet.

Peter wasn't in the class so he didn't sign in. But Zero had invited him to stop by. For moral support. Since she was teaching. It would be good to have a friendly face in the room. Yes.

In any event, Peter smiled, petted Zero gently, and quietly took a seat in the back of the room. Yay for moral support!

Kitty Zero purred. Yay, Peter was here!

Sakura signs in and smiles at Zero, scritching her under her chin and then patting her on the head.

Stark signs in, but does not offer any skritches, because somehow it seems odd to scratch a classmate behind the ears.

Vala signs in, then jumps slightly when she spots the kitten. She shook her head, Damn, I swear she wasn't there when I walked in... I must need more caffiene...

Kitty!Zero looked inquisitively up at Vala.

Vala smiled. She couldn't help it, the kittin was so cute. She leaned over and gave Kitty!zero a scritch behind the ears.

"prrrrrrrrrrr."
