Fandom High Graduation Ceremony, Class of 2014, Early Saturday Evening [Part 1]

Right after sunset, to make sure all types of guests could safely attend, the ceremony for graduation was ready to go. The lawn of the school had been lit up with blue and gold lights, creating safe paths for everyone to get to the seating area, and even in the fading sunlight, the graduates and their guests could likely see the beautiful job that the school's new gardening company had done getting plots of flowers and garden decorations set up around the stage. It might have been a long, cold winter, but there were no signs left of that tonight.

Of course, the pretty landscaping wasn't keeping the staff off of high alert, but hopefully the guests wouldn't notice as they were welcomed in.

Congratulations, Class of 2014! You made it! Now you just had to get through the ceremony. Maybe it would be quick and only slightly boring?

"I can't believe everyone's wearing the same outfit," Jessica noted. "Our class really should have coordinated, this is embarrassing."

Karolina chuckled. It only sounded a little bit nervous. "I agree, there should have been a mass email or something."

"It would have saved so much trouble. I spent literally seconds picking this out," Jessica sighed oh so dramatically. "Oh well, I guess things can't be perfect."

"They're perfect enough for me." Because she was easy, when it came to this one thing. Just graduating at all was kind of great. "We'll get through it somehow."

"We'd better. If we don't, I'm suing the school," Jessica joked.

Yes, Karolina, she was pretty much always like this.

"As long as you wait until after I've graduated."

Yes. That easy.

"Oh, that's not a problem. I'd need to find a lawyer anyway," Jessica promised.
