Fandom High Graduation Ceremony, Class of 2014, Early Saturday Evening [Part 1]

Right after sunset, to make sure all types of guests could safely attend, the ceremony for graduation was ready to go. The lawn of the school had been lit up with blue and gold lights, creating safe paths for everyone to get to the seating area, and even in the fading sunlight, the graduates and their guests could likely see the beautiful job that the school's new gardening company had done getting plots of flowers and garden decorations set up around the stage. It might have been a long, cold winter, but there were no signs left of that tonight.

Of course, the pretty landscaping wasn't keeping the staff off of high alert, but hopefully the guests wouldn't notice as they were welcomed in.

Congratulations, Class of 2014! You made it! Now you just had to get through the ceremony. Maybe it would be quick and only slightly boring?

Since it was someone he knew and someone who'd been nice to him during their few encounters, Flick actually did clap when Rilla's name was announced.

Anne and Gilbert clapped madly from their seats as Susan beamed at her and Jims clapped his hands over his ears at all the noise.

Aww, tiny fellow Canadian. She might have been Sparkle's polar opposite, but there was solidarity going on, here. He clapped when Rilla went up for her diploma, and yeah, maybe he sang the first few lines of O Canada pretty loudly while he was at it.

Bruce clapped for Rilla, and he was especially amused by how overexcited she continued to be this weekend.

Hannibal chuckled at Rilla's enthusiasm and Sparkle's contribution as he clapped. He also made note of where her family was sitting so he could congratulate them later.
