Friendship is Baking!!! - Wednesday
There was a large assortment of cupcakes at the front of the class today. This, the last class of the spring semester. (SOB)
But they were well deserved cupcakes for having such a… well, most of you guys worked really hard. And then there was Isabelle. Bless her heart.
"Today is supposed to be your final," Derek said, eyeing the cupcakes like they personally offended him. Or like he knew what would happen to his poor, poor outfit soon enough.
IF DEREK DIDN'T WANT THINGS HAPPENING TO HIS OUTFIT, HE SHOULDN'T BE WEARING IT TO CLASS.
Really. Humans had the weirdest hang-ups about clothing.
"I don't really 'do' finals." But apparently, Pinkie did do airquotes. Somehow. Without fingers. "I think it's way more fun to end a class with a good old fashioned PAAAAAAAAAAAAARTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!"
And she scooped up a brightly decorated pink cupcake and flung it at Derek.
Derek sighed at that because at least this time he'd managed to escape one semester of teaching with her. (He was going to miss it soooooo much.) Then he scooped off some of the frosting with his finger before flicking it at Pinkie. And look at that, there was even a tiny hint of a smile there!
