Literature- Wednesday- 2nd period

"Well, this is our last class," Jess began once the bell rang. "And thanks for being great, even when things were totally crazy. Anyway, today's your final and you're going to do a little bit of work for it. It is an essay- sorry. I want you to tell me two thing: what was your favorite book that we read this semester, and which was your least favorite, and why. Be as thorough as you can with the answer, since this is going to count for a big part of your grade. Just do the best you can."

And then she added, "I believe in you!" Totally seriously. She really did believe in you, kids. You just go and own that final.

Jim wrote a fairly long essay on what book he'd like and which he didn't. The one he liked had a little more detail and was more enthusiastic and the dislike portion was pretty scathing. Overall, pretty well done.

He also added in a few sentences about how he'd like the cleaning lady persona of hers the best. It'd made him laugh.
