Library, Saturday [3/22]

Cassidy was deep in thought as she went about her work in the library. There were a lot of things happening that just didn't make any sense and she wasn't too sure if she could make sense out of all of them. If truth be told, she was exhausted from pouring over her own books and trying to figure out what she was doing after graduation that having more strange things happening around her was a bit mentally draining.

However, today, she was in the library and doing her job. She was putting away books and retrieving books for people that were looking for them. When she wasn't doing that, she was doing a little bit of research, too.

Elsa hadn't quite exhausted her search through the books from the Magic Box that Rinoa had allowed her to borrow, but she was starting to go stir-crazy just going over them in her room, so she'd packed up an armload of them and carted them down to the library. Of course the library had more than its fair share of research materials itself, and she absolutely intended to go through everything she possibly could, but whatever was happening to the island seemed to have its root in something powerful, and it really only made sense to look for a solution in magic.

... Magic that she had no intention to attempt to perform herself, but she'd cross that bridge when she got to it.

Elizabeth had left for the night this time, but she was back bright and early. She had found a stack on both ancient and modern machinery; maybe there was something of note in these.

Well, Josh's basketball bracket was totally shot (screw you, Duke. Screw you RIGHT IN THE EYE), so Josh decided to come in on a Saturday and see if he could help out with the research thing.

He'd been pretty smart, once upon a time, even if weird problems with time wasn't exactly his forte...
