Pippi takes both kinds of Reveeuli and a slice of Peee-a, and plunks down at a table by a window. (Assuming there is a window.)

Walter loads up his tray and takes a seat across from Pippi near the window ~~that he has always assumed was there.~~

"Hi." He poked at the ravioli before taking a bite. Blech. But fuel was fuel, so he began forking it in. "Anything new or interesting going on?" he asked between bites.

Pippi shruged. ((Because her classes aren't up yet and she doesn't know... :P ))

"I had a slurpy yesterday. It was pretty good."

Walter choked on a bite of ravioli and covered his mouth. New slang? God, he hoped not.

"You had a what?"

"A semi-frozen sweet drink that comes in a variety of flavors," Victor siged as he plopped down in the seat next to his boyfriend and set down his not-so-full tray. "Usually cherry or cola."

"Oh. ~~Phew!~~" Walter cocked his head at Victor. "That's good to hear... Is something wrong?"

Victor scrunched up his nose and twisted the cap off of his Blue Bubble Gum Jones Soda. "You ever just had one of those days where you wake up and go eh? I think I'm having one of those days."

"Not really, but I think I know what you are talking about." Walter patted his boyfriend's arm sympathetically. "I hope going out to dinner later will help your mood."

And if he wondered if the soda was going to turn Victor's entire tongue blue, that was a normal wonder wasn't it?

"I'll probably feel better later," Victor said which is not ironic at all. "I'm probably going to go for a walk around town after lunch or something. But enough about that. How's your day going?"

"Smoothly enough. Just classes. Oh, Alfred hired some more help. Who knew there were so many butlers in one place?"

"There's another butler around? Man, you guys keep popping up like rabbits." He took a sip of his soda, then took a bite of beef ravioli. "At least this means less hours for you, right? I mean, it's not like you need the money."

"I usually forget that I get paid to do it," Walter said with a shrug, eating his ravioli without any enthusiasm. "It is all part of the training and I do not have to work on Sundays anymore, so I am not complaining. I have a real weekend day off."

"And you better use it, too. You deserve some rest at the end of the week; you're so busy with classes and work and being the best boyfriend ever that sometimes I think you don't spend any "Walter time". Maybe next Sunday you should go grab your pack of cigarettes and spend some time in the park, just relaxing. Maybe try some meditation or soemthing."

He saw that Walter wasn't eating with his usual gusto and made a worried face. "Are you okay?"

Walter leaned over and whispered in Victor's ear, "I liked the other chef better." Sitting back up, he said, "I think I am getting spoiled by Cafe Fina's cooking."

He finished his ravioli as quickly as possible and remembered the paper earlier. "I saw your article in this week's paper." He smirked at his boyfriend. "I am sure Alfred would be proud of you for remembering that lesson about the shoes."

"Yeah, his pizza was pretty good," Victor replied in a low voice, then smiled. "Thanks for the lesson. I forgot that I was supposed to turn in my article last night, and then I remembered what you taught me about observation so I figured it'd be perfect."

Walter laughed and bumped his shoulder against Victor's "I will take the mickey out of you if you ever get hit by a flying shoe in a fight after that."

"There's a Mickey in me?" Victor said with a wicked smirk that followed the comment up with something extrememly not work safe but oh-so-appropriate. He didn't say it out loud, though, for Pippi's sake.

"Seriously, though...what's a mickey?"

Pippi would also like to know what 'taking the mickey out of' means... Or was she not supposed to hear that because Vic and Walt were being clandestine?

"It's a cold drink... Kinda like shaved ice. I had cherry."

"So Victor informs me. It sounds good. Where do you get those?"

"At the Kwiky marty store that has those two wierd guys hanging out in front..." She said.

"The quite one is nice."

"Well yes, you are Pippi. How could he not be nice?" Things had been a little dull lately and he cast about for a topic of conversation. "Have you made any more plans for your cruises?"

"That is true, I am Pippi Longstocking. That is who I am." She finished in a sing-song fashion.

"Yes, I have a basic list of prices from Alfred for meal service. And I've contracted with Cally, Bridge, and Anders to create a small outboard motor for emergencies as well as food storage and preperation equipment. I need to call them to see about taking them down to the Bag of Gold so they can see how space works... I also need to go to the NPC Hardware and Lumber to get stuff to make a mast and a sail..."

She took a thoughful bite of her pasta. "And I need to go see Mayor Tex about a buisness license or something... And possibly to buy some guns."

"That sounds wonderful. If you need any help with any of the work, let me know. Butlers should know some of everything, and it is always good to learn by doing."

He frowned at her comment about guns, though. "Why will you need guns. Are there pirates in the waters around here other than you and Barbossa?"

"Well... I just got my Grandfather Fabe's flintlocks and a musket... I guess I'm just getting 'gun envy' going to Gun Club. I probably shouldn't, Ms. Prissillia is always saying I should be more 'fiscally responsible' and I did spend a lot of money this weekend."
