Walter leaned over and whispered in Victor's ear, "I liked the other chef better." Sitting back up, he said, "I think I am getting spoiled by Cafe Fina's cooking."

He finished his ravioli as quickly as possible and remembered the paper earlier. "I saw your article in this week's paper." He smirked at his boyfriend. "I am sure Alfred would be proud of you for remembering that lesson about the shoes."

"Yeah, his pizza was pretty good," Victor replied in a low voice, then smiled. "Thanks for the lesson. I forgot that I was supposed to turn in my article last night, and then I remembered what you taught me about observation so I figured it'd be perfect."

Walter laughed and bumped his shoulder against Victor's "I will take the mickey out of you if you ever get hit by a flying shoe in a fight after that."

"There's a Mickey in me?" Victor said with a wicked smirk that followed the comment up with something extrememly not work safe but oh-so-appropriate. He didn't say it out loud, though, for Pippi's sake.

"Seriously, though...what's a mickey?"

Pippi would also like to know what 'taking the mickey out of' means... Or was she not supposed to hear that because Vic and Walt were being clandestine?

Victor took another sip of soda, then stuck out his tongue far enough for him to see it. Yep, nice and blue.

He grinned and waited for Walter's answer.

[as the mun uses this to explain that he has to go see his intern and then has school stuff and won;t be back on for at last two more hours unless he can sneak on during break]

"It's..." Walter frowned as he tried to figure out how to explain it. "It is just slang. You can also say 'take the mickey bliss' out of someone. It means to tease someone."

"Who's Mickey Bliss?"

"No one. It is rhyming slang. It started with 'take the piss' out of someone. You know, like piss and vinegar? And rhyming that is 'take the mickey bliss,' and then you end up with take the mickey."

"Oh, like 'Raspberry'!"

Walter blinked as he ran through a mental list of things that rhymed with raspberry.

When that failed, he settled for asking, "Raspberry?"

"You know... Raspberry, as in Raspberry tart as in..."

Pippi stuck her tounge out, puffed her cheeks and made a "Pffffft!" noise.

"Like that, yes. I did not know that one. But Uncle Ted for bed, and Uncle Dick for feeling sick."
