That can take some delicate negotiations, especially if your co-parent is someone you aren't dating or, worse yet, can't stand. How did your weekend go? Did you get through it without anyone bursting into tears? Do you have the first clue of what I'm talking about?"

Joker grimaced. "It was traumatizing, and it sucked. The kid was not just impossible, but creepy. I liked it better when I was scheming to steal your diamond mine."

Like Raven'a Anakin. He would have been happy to dropkick that child through the portal himself.

"I had one last year. And I have vague memories of a 20 year reunion where I had a completely different kid, but that one wasn't in town with me," Jessica explained.

"I didn't have any children show up," Mercy said. "So I pretty much just stayed out of the way."

Mercy shook her head, again not sure if she was relieved or disappointed.

Disappointed looked like it was winning, though.

"No. Maybe I'm just not going to ever have kids."

"One of my kids is apparently very good at manipulating people into giving her what she wants," Toby shared. "So that was... interesting."

Also apparently said kid was co-parented not just by himself and his current girlfriend, but also said girlfriend's best friend.

"I didn't get any kids this year," Victor said simply. "Didn't go crazy the last time everyone else did, either."

He shifted uncomfortably in his seat. "So ... probably the island's saving up some massive trauma for me."
