Evan Sabahnur, the most tragically hideous boy in the world, arrived at the library to work today, looking tragically tired, and made his way to his favorite section in the stacks. It wasn't just that they were clearly the most popular books in the library, and therefore far more prone to falling into a state of disarray that had him going there first. It was also the fact that the romance section was all that could make him feel happy, that could remind him why he chose to do this to himself day in and day out, guarding his secrets against the weight of the world.

Secrets. So many secrets. Like his mysterious origins, the way he'd discovered that he was actually a clone of the greatest evil the world had ever known. The way he'd gained shapeshifting powers after a few years of soul-searching, being taught mystical dark magicks by his mysterious uncle in Kansas. His second life and other job, the reason the romance novels in the library were the only books here that really brought him any joy.

He shared a secret smile with the camera as he put a book back onto the shelf. Nobody must ever know.

After all, Evan's middle name... was Fabio.
