The class was in the Danger Shop today, which was looking quite a bit like a clothing department of a store.

"Guess what we're doing today," Kitty greeted them with a smile. "Clothes are pretty much the easiest way to tell people who you are, due to it being one of the first things people see on you. Which isn't to say you need to care about things like shopping or fashion. But due to things like laws you do usually need to wear clothes, so what you put on says something about you, even if it's just jeans and a t-shirt." Which she was totally wearing.

"Now, you're all young, and what you like to dress in now might change as you get older. Whether the styles change or you get more money to dress better or the way you feel about your body changes and you start dressing it differently. I've had... probably between one and two dozen phases since I was about thirteen, sometimes changing it up every couple weeks." She wasn't going to get into the costume thing in class because that was a potentially off-topic can of worms she didn't want to open on the second week, but let's at least narratively never forget the thing with the legwarmers and rollerskates. "It was fun, being able to change my look and figuring out what worked. So that's what you guys are doing here. I programmed in a wide range of clothes and accessories of all different price ranges, and there are things from different time periods since I know some of you are from the past, and maybe some of you have an inner flapper you're dying to let out or something. There's also makeup and some wigs back over there, so this is your chance to make yourselves look the way you want to without limitations, and no judgment for any of it. Feel free to help each other out, and if you need any help, I'm right over here."

"There doesn't actually have to be," Raven noted again quietly. "I can just shift in the changing rooms." She looked over the dress, noting the pattern -- wow, that was a lot of pattern -- and colors. "Alright, let's give it a go!"

"Oh! Well, duh." Cecil rolled his eyes at himself. "I think I may need a bit of help, though. He cocked his head at the dress. "And probably a bra or something?"

Right, he wasn't going to just manifest breasts, was he?

Raven tilted her head to one side and pursed her lips. "I bet we can find a push up bra. And some tissues at least. We can use the same dressing room, if you like, then I can help you out."

"Sure! If you don't mind." Cecil chewed his lip. "I mean, it's not like we couldn't both have the same parts if you wanted, or like bathing suits hide any more than underwear, except I think they did in your time? And I'm not even into girls, but you're from a while ago and I wouldn't want to make you uncomfortable or make your brother want to shoot me or anything."

So Cecil was babbling, okay? Death By 1950s Outraged Family wasn't exactly how he'd seen himself going.

Raven just smiled at all that. "I don't mind," she assured him. "If it was allowed, I'd be perfectly happy walking around naked."

It was kind of what she did anyway. Seriously, she hadn't even done laundry since she got here.

"Yeah, but not in a small room alone with me," Cecil pointed out. "If your brother comes after me, I expect your dragon-shaped help," he told her seriously.

"If my brother tried to come after you, he'd have to admit to reading our minds without our permission and then he'd have no grounds to stand on whatsoever," Raven said.

"Oh, good." Cecil grinned. "In that case, lead on!"
