Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

There was the bonfire for everyone who thought Maryland in January was a little too cool for their taste, as well as the moddable warm food and drinks, and chairs and tables in the school colors of blue and gold. Some tables were also set a little further away from the crowds.

Because there were always people who preferred the fringes.

[OCD up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

Here, have a half-dozen! Kenzi was going to keep eating those until they were gone, otherwise.

"Yup, yup. Especially if there are aliens. Or pink ponies. Mostly it looks like the new girls are from your era, yeesh." Kenzi was going to be recommending jeans and leggings to all them. How else were they gonna run from the craziness?

"There's nothing at all wrong with my era," Éponine said, feigning indignation (and availing herself of those pretzels). "And why shouldn't there be? There's certainly enough of you here from this one."

"Eh, point. Why don't we get more guys from Ancient Greece, who think a loincloth is enough?" Hmm. "Or better yet, hot nudist guys from the future?"

Éponine burst out laughing, which was fairly impressive considering she also managed to look somewhat scandalized. "Imagine someone just turning up here at the picnic like that, without so much as a hello!"

No, really. Imagine it.

"Pix would be up on YouTube within seconds," Kenzi said wistfully. "Although I bet there would be lots and lots of screaming. Mostly from intimidated guys."

Éponine wondered, for a brief moment, how Marius might have reacted to that situation, then realized she might have a wild guess at best. Montparnasse, though, definitely wouldn't like it, and that thought coaxed a laugh out of her.

"Just you watch. They'd deny it in a blink if you reminded them of it afterward."

"This may have to happen at some point," Kenzi said, a scheming look on her face. "I just gotta find guys willing to get arrested for indecent exposure. Or, guys who really are nudists...."

Look, she took half the last class to a strip club, with some help from other peoples. This was not a stretch.

Kenzi blinked at her. Whaaat? "Fun! Getting away with stuff! New people amused! More fun?" She considered. "Maybe I'd be able to sell the photos?" But yes, that was third on the list. "Why not?"
