Library [12/14]

The library was seeming more and more like a second home to people this week, so Cassidy was on hand, trying to make sure that everyone AND the books had everything that they might need. With everything that was going on, she was feeling more stressed than usual and everyone else's psychic scents of how they were feeling probably wasn't helping her own.

Even so, she was her usual efficient and smiling self -- even if the smile was a bit forced today. The "No Guns in the Library" sign and box were on display and unblocked by any books that might be left laying around for the few minutes it took for Cassidy to whisk them away to where they belonged. There was a large kettle of tea that was being kept warm by a small tongue of witch fire on her desk and several kinds of pastries for the researchers or anyone else who wanted them.

Talk to Mr. Torgue [12/14]

At one point, the screen showing Dr. Tannis' lab suddenly crackled, and the view changed. The screen was sudenly filled by a very, very muscular man wearing a bandana, shades, and a couple of gold chains. And no shirt. There was the sound of a guitar solo.

Oh wait, he was doing that sound with his mouth.

"Mr. Torgue! Get off this ECHO connection, you meatheaded brute!" Dr. Tannis' voice demanded, exasperated. "We are working on something important!"

"NO! We here at Torgue Corporation have heard about your work and think there might be EXPLOSIONS, and that is F*CKING AWESOME!" Yes, he had a voicebox that censored his swearing with a beep. You were welcome. "I hope I can make sure some more EXPLOSIONS happen!"

Right, Fandom, looked like you now had another ally who might have some useful insight. Or just yell at you about badassitude and explosions a lot. Hard to say in advance.
