Friendship is Teamwork!!!, Wednesday, Period 1

Class met in the Danger Shop again, today, and were met not with the usual grim and goofy duo, but instead with just Pinkie Pie, sproining up and down, wearing a referee's striped shirt, a snorkel and mask, and flippers on all four hooves.

The Danger Shop itself was suspiciously empty. Pinkie hadn't started the program yet. That outfit, though -- it just couldn't bode well.

"Derek isn't going to be joining us, today," she said, pausing in her sproinging for a bit of epic sad pony face, then picking right up on the cheer where she left off. "But that's okay 'cause I've planned an extra special class for all of you to make up for it!"

Translation: Derek wasn't here to reign her in, and as such the students were about to be subjected to pure, unadulterated Pinkie Pie.

Honestly, if you were to leave now, no one could blame you.

Pinkie sproinged her way into the center of the room, getting more and more air on each bounce, until after a suspiciously high jump the floor suddenly turned to water and she came splashing down with a squeal of glee. "I read on the internet that polo is played with horses!" she . . . explained? I guess? "So today we're all playing water polo! Eeee!" She batted a floating red playground ball in the students' general direction. "So grab a ball and get playing!"

Water dodge-polo

Pinkie was super unclear on any number of human concepts. For instance: their sports. Or their lack of ability to be drenched one minute and bone dry by the next.

Or toes. She really just didn't understand toes.

Basically, what she's going for here is for all of you to play dodge ball in the water and call it polo.

You really should have left before the floor turned to water.

As much as he didn't appreciate being wet, Billy was hoping the water might make some of the red-and-white come off of his skin. Alas, he was just wet and colorful now.
