Library, 2/21

[chasingangela]

Angela is curled up behind the counter, sipping from a very large bottle of water and flipping through a graphic novel about a being called Fantasy who is one of seven siblings as old as the universe.

The library is open for all your book-type needs.

[OOC: This will probably be slowplay for at least part of the day from me -- look for another aide or mod appropriate assistance if necessary.]

Zero is here, refreshing her memory of Fantasy and his siblings with Angela's book. She read all the volumes ages ago, so if anyone needs help, she's certainly available.

"I'm not, but that artwork is... something." Disturbing, but beautiful. "Not what I'd execpt of a comic book."

"Yeh, you know, those people. You think comics are all 'Holy shnikes, Rodentman!' n' bad art. Which, there's some truly horrendous art out there, I won't lie to you. But there's some really good art, too. And there's even some manga-style art like me!"

"Hmmmm." Parker tapped a finger on the book. "I hadn't really thought about it at all. I wasn't interested in comics when I was a child, and it's not the sort of thing any of my friends were into." She studied it a moment longer, than said, "I wonder if Angelo would like this? Hmm."

"Hmmm, yeah, this'd probably be right up his alley, then. Wanna see?" Zero offered the book to Parker.

"Sure." Parker took the book, and paged through it a bit more. "Okay, there's a chick with purple hair called Frenzy who's talking to her dog, and I suspect the dog is imaginary. I have to get one of these." She checked the name of the author and nodded. "Right. Next care package along with the Sugar Frosted Bombs."

"I can't remember if Fatality has showed up yet or not. Black-and-white chick with an ourobouros? I always think she's French."

"Wearing a beret? Yeah, I can see why you think she's French." Parker read some of the dialogue, and snickered. "She's kicking Fantasy's ass for being a whiner. I think I like this chick."
