Live Entertainment Appreciation, Thursday, Period 5
"Today," Jono said, looking a little shy of completely exhausted as he stood on the Causeway waiting for his portal, "we're going to go to see some manner of sporting event."
Some manner. He'd just called up Portalocity and had asked for something that would keep his students entertained while he grumbled about bad dreams and insomnia to himself for a bit.
"Same rules as usual for sporting events apply, I assume. Feel free to pick a team or an athlete, cheer, what-have-you." The portal opened, and Jonothon promptly waved his students through it…
… to Olympia, circa 708 B.C.
At which point, he buried his face in his hand.
"And if you're not mature enough to handle an hour of watching naked male athletes racing or wrestling one another, the portal is right back that way. This is a history lesson, not a burlesque show."
Which was about all he really cared to say. Welcome to the ancient Olympic Games.

The Olympics!
All performed by the best athletes Greece has to offer, in the name of Zeus.
Re: The Olympics!
For her sake, she was recording the athletes on her phone since it was totally unfair that she couldn't give the… sporting events… her undivided attention during class.
Re: The Olympics!
Really. She was. She'd just never seen a guy running with his ... thing flapping around like that before, much less a whole group of guys. It made for quite a sight.
Re: The Olympics!
...he wasn't DEAD, are you kidding? He cheered for the best-looking ones and took a lot of surreptitious pictures with his phone.
His concession to maturity and being in a relationship was not propositioning the ancient Greeks who would have no problem sleeping with him, damn it!
