School Auditorium: Auditions, beginning Noonish.

The lights are up up on the stage, and Dewey sits in the middle of the center aisle of seats, a notebook and pen in hand, and his iPod at the ready in case there are any lulls in auditions.

Yes, that is seriously how low-key Dewey has set up auditions. Get up on stage and do your monologue and sing your song, and you shall be properly auditioned.

Cally sits down in the auditorium, in the early afternoon. She's totally planning on being supportive of her friends.

She's not here to audition. She's also spending way too much time chewing on her pen.

"Trying out? I'm just here to be supportive," Cally says. "Erm, I'm back to being me, in case you heard any of that. But, yeah, I don't think I could try out. I'm totally not prepared."

...The donkey on Dewey's shirt may have just winked at Jaye. Maybe. Not that anyone other than Jaye could have seen that.
