Ethics [Tuesday, November 5, 2013]
"Good morning," Anakin said as he strode into the Danger Shop, which has been set up to look like an arena, complete with a cheering, weirdly insectile, crowd.
Anakin drew from what he knew and the last arena he'd been in had been full of Geonosians trying to kill him. Ahem.
"There is a story on Earth called the Lady or the Tiger," Anakin said, "where a princess had been conducting an affair with someone far below her station and her father, the king, found out. Being a slightly sadistic man, his version of justice involved an arena like this and two doors like those." He pointed to the giant doors. "Today, you're the unlucky sap caught with the princess. Behind one door is a woman more suited to your position in life: not ugly, but not a princess either. If you open that door, you get to marry her immediately and are not horribly eaten in front of a cheering crowd. Because behind the second door is a hungry tiger, which will try to horribly eat you."
Anakin shrugged. "Well, try to. This is the Danger Shop and I'm not allowed to actually get you horribly eaten."
There'd be paperwork.
"Your task is to, based on the sort of person you'd date, decide if you're about to be married or tiger chow, get directions about which door to open from the princes--" who looked weirdly like Anakin's first wife, but never you mind that, "then open the door and find out if you're right."
He smiled fiendishly. "This should be interesting."
Possibly only for Anakin...

Try not to get eaten [11/5]
Then open the door and hope for the best!
[OOC: This is all up to the mod's discretion, omg.]
Re: Try not to get eaten [11/5]
because as of yet no one had left her pregnant and in jail for their crimes at seventeen because they didn't want to deal with their daddy issues, Neal.Re: Try not to get eaten [11/5]
But, he figured that Joi, no matter how mad she might be, wouldn't kill him so he guessed he'd get married off to someone else. So, he headed for that door.
Re: Try not to get eaten [11/5]
No potential maulings for her today!
Ethical discussion!
"There are several ethical aspects to discuss. Let's start with the big one: is feeding people to tigers an effective way to determine guilt?"
Re: Ethical discussion!
Not that he agreed with it but he could see that happening.
