Literature 101- Thursday- 4th period

Wow, class was so much easier to deal with when everyone wasn't hopped up on hormones. Jess never thought she'd even have to think that thought.

"Last week I gave you the meta for Little Women, which focuses on four sisters in the 1800's, representing the different options women had back in those days. As you should know because I know you all read the book last week." Assuming everyone had been reading and not doing it last week. "You have one staying at home, one getting married, one focusing on work, and one kind of figuring out where she wants to be. Next week we're on break, so you'll have an extra week to work on your book reports, and yes, you have to do a book report over break but you still only have this class once a week so it's not a big deal, no one complain. So today we're going to do some discussing, and hopefully you remember over the next two weeks. No pressure."

"I like Amy." Of course you did, Stiles, she was the Lydia Martin of the novel. "She was a brat, but I thought there was some layers there that set her apart from the average youngest sibling."

Plus she got to bang Christian Bale in the end, and Stiles appreciated that.

Also he was not looking at Jess at all when he talked. Irrational jealousy was a thing that happened.

"I wanted to slap Amy until she stopped talking," Rilla replied a little tartly. "She was terribly spoilt and deserved to have her limes taken away. She got a little better as she grew older, but she was beastly as a child."

It's probably bad that Bay is more or less stating my opinion verbatim. Worse if you know I ended up being called Beth after that character, though my mom swears she forgot the whole death factor.
