Friendship is Teamwork!!!, Wednesday, Period 1
The Danger Shop door opened up onto a large wooden platform around an even larger wooden pole. From the platform extended all sorts of rope bridges and swings, and even a narrow wooden log, all lined with lengths of cable, connecting the platform to other, smaller platforms on other large wooden poles.
Anyone who ventured close enough to the edge would discover a 30 foot drop down to the ground.
Hope no one has vertigo problems!
"Today is another trust exercise," Derek said, looking more surly than normal. If you could even tell the varying levels of surly he exhibited, that is. "Everything is about trust."
He hated everything.
Pinkie, who was floating about two feet above the platform by a bunch of balloons tied around her waist, looked downright giddy. "Since everypony seems kinda hyper this week --" that's right, the pony had noticed you're all horny. Think about that for a moment. "-- I thought it'd be extra fun to do something that requires looooads of energy!"
Derek didn't want to think about that. Oh god, it was horrifying. He shot her a look out of the corner of his eye before trying to focus on the task at hand. "Work in groups to get across without falling."
Yeah, that was helpful of him.
"We have lots of safety equipment!" Pinkie pointed a hoof to a pile of harnesses, cables, giant caribeeners, and helmets. Which was maybe only slightly more helpful. "And most of all, have fun!!"
And don't, you know, fall and die. That would be bad.

Listen to the lecture
High ropes course
Many of the obstacles can be tackled solo, like crossing between poles on wooden swings, rope bridges, or giant balance beams. Some, such as this charmer, require you to support part of your weight on a partner to cross. Unless you're a tightrope walker. There's even one where you can detach yourself from the safety cables and jump for a trapeze, supported by your friends on the other end!
Feel free to mod your own obstacles in addition to those I managed to locate somewhat vague pictures of. Pinkie might well have made them up as she went along. Poles may well sway slightly in simulated Danger Shop wind. Because Pinkie thinks that's exciting and also she miiiiiiight be slightly terrible.
And remember: this is the Danger Shop. So falling will only terrify you.

Talk to the teachers

Naturally.
Re: Talk to the teachers
Odds were high he'd tell you to do a ridiculous parkour move if you were in danger of falling. Because that was reasonable.
