Breaking Things 101, Wednesday, Period 3
"Today, we are smashing watermelons!"
Electroclash just wasn't going to greet the students like a normal person anymore. They were in the Danger Shop, once again, and there were tables with watermelons on them, and... piles and piles of rubber bands. Yes. Oh, and cameras set up to record each table's goings-on. She should probably say something about that, right?
"Watermelons are hard on the outside but squishy on the inside, and while it's pretty bloody satisfying to just smash them to pieces with a hammer or some shit like that, we are going the slow route today. You are going to pair up, take a watermelon, and start putting the rubber bands around it. It'll seem pointless fr a while, like all things in life, but if you keep putting more and more rubber bands around the fruit, there'll be more and more pressure on it, and eventually it will explode all over you."
Which Electroclash thought would be hilarious all on its own, but she gestured towards the cameras. "And at the end of the class, we'll watch your fruit explosions in glorious slow motion with the help of these high speed cameras. Trust me, it makes it all worth it because it is fucking hilarious. Now, get to pairing up and slowly breaking things."

Blowing things up? Sure! He was grinning as he looked around for someone in need of a partner.
Watch the Explosions in Slow Motion [BT 09/25]
It is glorious. Bits of watermelon flying everywhere! Also, laugh at your classmates surprised faces in slow motion.
Talk to Sparkle [BT 09/25]
Re: Talk to Sparkle [BT 09/25]
Sparkle wanted to blow up more watermelons than just the one. That's how much Sparkle loved this class. YEAH.
Re: Talk to Sparkle [BT 09/25]
"This is going to take a lot of rubber bands, isn't it?"
Re: Talk to Sparkle [BT 09/25]
Sparkle was never one to pass up the opportunity to blow something up.

Re: Talk to Sparkle [BT 09/25]
Never let it be said that Sparkle wasn't enthusiastic. He grinned, grabbed a rubber band, and stretched it around the watermelon, letting go of it and smiling a little wider as it settled around the fruit with an audible snap.
"Bet we could probably each get a few of these things on here at a time, if we really wanted."
Re: Talk to Sparkle [BT 09/25]
It didn't look explodey, yet.

He raised his hand. "Can I go change first?"
Wimp.
Re: Talk to Electroclash [BT 09/25]
No, she had not specified that the fruit were part of the simulation for them previously.

Re: Talk to Electroclash [BT 09/25]
"Let's see," she rasped. "Did I carry a bunch of heavy bloody fruit in here with me when I can just as easily make the computer conjure them up? No. No I did not. Your clothes are safe."
Re: Talk to Electroclash [BT 09/25]
But he was happy about his clothes. No one wanted watermelon all over a yellow sweater vest. It would just look weird.
