Library, Sunday All Day
Today, Evan walked into the library to find a cuddlepile of books in the children's section. From somewhere, they'd managed to find a teddy-bear, and the whole lot of the kids' books were just sort of heaped up around it, doing what Evan could only assume was dozing off.
... Which didn't seem like a half-bad idea, but there was work to be done. Evan would just have to cuddle his puppy after his shift or something, instead.
He did put up a sign near the children's books asking people to be extra quiet when passing by them, though. He didn't want anybody disturbing their naptime.

"Requests?" He perked up a little, and then bounced up from his desk and made his way toward Constantine's office. The less yelling, the better for the sleeping booklings, after all. "I don't suppose there are maybe some books on meditation or anger management that we don't have in stock yet, are there? Or more about, um, ancient Egyptian gods?"
For no reason in particular. At all.

"Both, I think. History does weird things to the truth, and myths usually seem to have an element of it in them in the first place," he decided, stepping into the office with a little shrug of his shoulders. "I want to find out as much as I possibly can, and there aren't many places to look, besides books."
It wasn't like there were X-Men lining up to tell him more about Apocalypse, except that he was horrible.
