Library, Wednesday
Sholeh came in with a mission today. It was a new semester, with new students and teachers and at least one person seemed to be afraid of libraries and librarians. That wouldn't do at all! Libraries were magic places full of wonder and delight, not fear!
Today, she was brainstorming plans to get people involved with the library more. Maybe a book club? Tours? Homework help?
She also had a platter of cookies on the circulation desk with a small sign that read, Welcome to the library! Have a cookie! First-timers? Have two! Some of the children's books kept trying to steal the cookies when her back was turned, but she was old hand at listening for the soft, whispery noises that meant the books were up to something.

Re: Talk to Sholeh
He packed his gun and tear gas in his backpack, just in case. You could never be underprepared around a library.
He stuck his head in carefully and eyed the cookies with a little suspicion and a little drool. "Did you make those?"
Re: Talk to Sholeh
Because Cecil seemed the type to need the distinction.

"So you...um. You come here a lot?"
Re: Talk to Sholeh
See? You were safe here, Cecil! Saaafe!

"...Is there anything you don't immediately associate with a fatality rate?"
Look, she had to ask, okay?
Re: Talk to Sholeh
"I don't think the lights above the Arby's have killed anyone?" he finally answered dubiously. "Not technically, anyway. Unless the traffic accidents due to distractions count."
Re: Talk to Sholeh
She had no idea what he meant, she really didn't.

"If you're sure..." He snatched up another cookie before the books could get it and grinned a bit nervously at Sholeh.
Re: Talk to Sholeh
There was that one time where Special Collections had kept opening up the door, but Sholeh figured that was more an attempt to lure her in than actually hurt her.
