Opening the library on Monday mornings had been part of William's routine for so long that it felt... strange... to be doing so on a different day.
The books apparently agreed, as none of the volumes he attempted to reshelve today were staying put.
"You're being ridiculous," William chided the stack that had appeared on the circulation desk by the time he got back from the stacks.
