Once again, the front lawn of the school had been set up to welcome the new students and teachers who were--assuming the bus trip went safely--arriving in Fandom for the first time. The goal was to create a friendly atmosphere to ease everyone into Fandom life, so the helpers had arranged the school's blue and gold tables everywhere, along with streamers and just a touch of glitter. Someday, the school would run out of glitter, but it would not be this day. There was also plenty of food to be shared next to the information tables, listing out siblings and teaching buddies and roommates, oh my.

Of course, no welcome picnic was allowed to run truly smoothly and the island, seemingly not wanting to miss out on the festivities, was blessing everyone with flower crowns. But hey, at least it wasn't raining something odd, right?

[OOC: This is part one of the picnic, specifically for meeting siblings, roommates, and teachers. The rest of the picnic will be in post two in an effort to stop our browsers from dying. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers and townies!]

Sparkle had told her already, back when she assumed that his name had meant he was fashionable. But that didn't mean he couldn't mess with her some more.

After all, he had two jobs.

"The sex shop. I like to dress up the giant cock that stands by the door while I'm on shift."

"Is the cock painted in glittery paint?"

It would take a lot more to mess with her.

"Does the shop actually let ex happen on the premises or just sell things to make it more enjoyable?"

Daphne possibly had no shame.

Yeah, Sparkle could tell. You could tell that Sparkle could tell by the way he raised an eyebrow at her.

"Yeah, that's what the back room is for," he said, completely straight-faced. "But really, it's men only. Big hairy bears wearing black studded leather with whips and chains, preferably. You know how it is."

He was pulling this out of his ass. The back room had the more risqué merchandise, but there was no sex allowed in the sex shop.

This caused Daphne to laugh and shake her head.

"I'll make sure that if I visit that store, I'll make sure to avoid the back room. Not in love with the idea of seeing men in bear costumes doing anything with leather and whips."

Wait until she told Velma about this place.

Sparkle kind of wanted to explain, 'no, not that kind of bear,' but decided against it. Because...

Because he had a very finite amount of sanity, and sometimes he thought it would be best to preserve it wherever possible.

"Pretty sure you're too little anyhow, kiddo," he replied, shrugging his shoulders. "Come in when you get your first period and I'll get you an informational booklet or something, though."
