Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part I

Once again, the front lawn of the school had been set up to welcome the new students and teachers who were--assuming the bus trip went safely--arriving in Fandom for the first time. The goal was to create a friendly atmosphere to ease everyone into Fandom life, so the helpers had arranged the school's blue and gold tables everywhere, along with streamers and just a touch of glitter. Someday, the school would run out of glitter, but it would not be this day. There was also plenty of food to be shared next to the information tables, listing out siblings and teaching buddies and roommates, oh my.

Of course, no welcome picnic was allowed to run truly smoothly and the island, seemingly not wanting to miss out on the festivities, was blessing everyone with flower crowns. But hey, at least it wasn't raining something odd, right?

[OOC: This is part one of the picnic, specifically for meeting siblings, roommates, and teachers. The rest of the picnic will be in post two in an effort to stop our browsers from dying. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers and townies!]

"I may not be all that threatening on my own, but I do pretty well teamed up with gods," Clint pointed out. "Since you've been around before, I don't have to warn you about the gremlins or the random weird crap, and I also shouldn't have to warn you that people here are mostly good and like others to be good in return."

"You do well with gods, but I defy them regularly," Doom said. "I have fought against impossible odds all my life. Threats of numbers mean nothing to me. Threats of GODS mean nothing to me. I mean the people of this island no harm, but if the paranoia of you and your other 'mostly good' people ever force the hand of Doom, you will regret it."

This was definitely the beginning of a beautiful friendship. "Let's hope it never comes to that then. Enjoy the picnic," Clint said, backing up. "I'm sure you'll know where to find me if you need to."
