Library, Wednesday, All Day
Special Collections was back to behaving itself today, which Sholeh was very grateful for. The last thing she needed today was to do battle with a door again. The books seemed content to behave themselves today, too, which was a pleasant change. She was almost on the verge of thinking things were too pleasant, when the fashion magazines took off into the air, flying around almost like thos nasty creatures from the weekend.
Sholeh was of a mind to ignore them, but they kept bombarding her at random intervals with 'Back To School Fashion Tips.' If they kept it up, she was going to get a broom and swat them out of the air!

Re: Talk to Sholeh
...Was this when the slumber parties and pillow fights started? Sholeh wasn't entirely sure of the formalities.
"I don't think you can," she replied, rather frankly. "I don't think that's how friendship works. Not unless either of us changes."
Re: Talk to Sholeh
"If that is the case then I think we'll be all right," she said agreeably, grinning a bit. "Though, in saying so, perhaps we're trying our luck?"
Re: Talk to Sholeh
"Point," she said, wrinkling her nose. "Perhaps we should agree here and now that personality changes brought on by Fandom being Fandom don't count?"
Though she reserved the right to avoid you if you ever became a vampire and killed her, Yeul. It's just a thing.
Re: Talk to Sholeh
Though Yeul had escaped generally unscathed so far.
"While we are talking about friendship," she continued, "I was wondering if you, or your sisters, were going to be busy over next week's break?"
Re: Talk to Sholeh
You know, like during the night, when she was supposed to be sleeping!
"Why do you ask?"
Re: Talk to Sholeh
"I am heading home for a few days," Yeul said, looking pleased at the thought. "I thought that, perhaps, if you were not busy, you and your sisters might like to join me? My Guardian is amendable to any guests I'd bring."
Because Caius hadn't really gotten a say, not when Yeul had wanted something.
Re: Talk to Sholeh
Look, this was the first invitation home that Sholeh had ever gotten. She was allowed to be excited.
Re: Talk to Sholeh
"I would really like you all to visit," Yeul said quickly, wanting to reassure them. "It would only be for a couple of days, so we wouldn't be able to show you everything, but I thought, perhaps, it might be enjoyable."
Re: Talk to Sholeh
"But we will get to do some sightseeing, won't we?" she asked. "Just even the village around your house? You can tell us stories and the history and things?"
Think of all the fun things she could leeeearn!

Her skirt didn't even look like it had pockets.
"Bring as many books as you like," Yeul added, running through the questions, "and while shoes that are good for walking are a must, anything else is up to you, since carrying it all is easy for us. Perhaps a swimsuit, since it will be nice enough to go into the water?"
