Friendship is Always in Fashion, Thursday - Period 1
Never let it be said that Pinkie Pie wasn't willing to go all out when it came to themed outfits. The piercings weren't even remotely real, and at any moment her hair was going to poof back out into its usual curls with an audible squeak, but while the students gathered, at least, she was pretty damn well gothed out.
And Derek was, unfortunately, forced into the other style this class would be focusing on today. Which meant he was wearing more glitter than strictly necessary and looking like if Ke$ha and David Bowie had a love child. An angry, angry love child who would possibly bite you if you talked about the make up he was sporting.
Don't worry, class, despite appearances, Derek wasn't actually wearing all the make-up and glitter Pinkie had available, there was plenty for you to create your own looks with, too. Just, you know. A lot of it was being worn.
"Hi everypony!" Pinkie greeted brightly. She just about defined "perky goth", yes. "Today we're going to cover two super-duper fun fashion movements: goth," she made a dark, serious face and struck a pose, then brightened again, "and glam!"
Strike a pose, Derek.
His pose was really more of a blue steel. Which worked for glam if you were going with the 70's version of it. "This is stupid," he hissed, trying not to scratch the glitter off his face. "And uncomfortable."
"But you look so pretty!" Pinkie was not as quiet as she thought she was. "Now hush up and pass out the handouts."
She was just so lucky that Derek knew better than to argue with her about anything. Because pass out those papers he did. Possibly getting glitter on them as he went. Sorry he wasn't sorry, kids.
"We also have lots of make up and glitter and pretty pretty clothes for you all to try on and make your own goth and-or glam outfits!" Pinkie said happily, yanking a rack of costumes out of a closet that wasn't nearly large enough to house such a thing. "So get creative and express yourselves! Gothly and-or glamishly!"
Those were totally words, yes. Don't you dare question them on that. They were teachers, you know. Professionals.
