Friendship is Always in Fashion, Thursday, period 1
The classroom was arranged with the desks all turned to face a bare strip of floor through the middle, marked off with sparkly (naturally) tape.
Your runway, ladies and gentlemen.
Because what was a class about fashion without a show or two to watch? Just think of it as Project Runway as taught by a pony and the angriest werewolf ever. Pinkie Pie was clearly the Tim Gunn of this duo. Derek only wished he had Heidi's style.
"Hi," Derek said, not looking especially thrilled to be there. But that was par for the course if you've ever seen him before. "My name is Derek." He preemptively winced for what would come next.
"And I'm Pinkie Pie!" Pinkie squealed, far too close to Derek's ear. (Oh look, he knew her so well! BFFAEAE!) "Welcome to Friendship is Always in Fashion!" She struck a dramatic pose, smizing like a champ.
Or she had an eyelash in her eye. It was hard to tell.
Derek sighed, just glad he wasn't covered in glitter. Yet. "Today we're going to get to know each other." Meaning you get to tell them your names like in aaaaall your other classes. "And what you think your fashion choices say about you."
"For instance," Pinkie said. "I usually don't wear anything at all! Which is actually what most ponies do, but when I'm around people I think it says that I'm a free-spirited kinda lady who doesn't need to be tied down to a single subculture!" It helped that she could whip a new outfit up literally out of nowhere.
There was that, yes. "And I would say my clothing is neutral and non-attention drawing," Derek said. Which, really, Derek? Have you seen your ass? Your fabulous ass? "So, someone gets to go first."
And be judged.
"And, oo!" Pinkie waved her hoof in the air as though wanting to be called upon. "If anypony wants to be a TA, let us know!"

"My name is Sparkle," he shared, looking down at his wardrobe for the day, all chains and belts and ripped second-hand jeans. "Really. And my style says that I want people to think that I don't care about what they think."
He did care, by the way. He was just pretty good at not letting it show.

"If they think I don't care, they're not gonna try as hard to change me," he replied, shrugging. "I'm just fine with me as I am, I don't want anyone stepping in looking to fix what's not broken."
