Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

There were plenty of tables and chairs scattered around the lawn for anyone who wanted to sit down once they'd had their fill of the buffet, or to recover from starting to find out what this place was all about. No one would judge the need to take a mental breather.

Some of the tables were out in the open, for those who weren't allergic to the sun, and some of the tables were in the shade, or far from the rest of the crowd for those who needed a little more space to process. Wherever people decided to rest, there was space enough for everyone.

[OOC: This is part two of the picnic, separated in an effort to save our browsers for as long as possible. Part one, to run into siblings, roommates and teachers, is over here, though teachers are also welcome in this post, of course. Because the picnic is outside, it is open to all students, teachers and townies.]

"No, but I'd like it if you people stopped turning in half my friends," Atton said smoothly, rolling his eyes. "It's like you don't have anything better to do."

"I hunt people down, get to see the looks on their face when they realize a teenage girl just beat them up, and then people give me credits for doing that. There isn't anything better to do," Mira argued.

"I could think of a few things," Atton argued. "Like grabbing drinks at the Entertainment Promenade and winning a few hands of pazaak."

"Well, sure, if you want to be boring," Mira scoffed. "But it's simple. If you don't want someone like me busting your friends, you either need to get them to angering people with money, or you need better friends."

Well, this was going to be a pain. On the other hand-- it was nice to meet someone from his home universe who wasn't a lightsaber-waving stick-in-the-mud.

But ahahaha like he'd ever admit that.

"Cross your heart, hope to lose a hand of Pazaak?" Mira asked, putting on the sweetest, most hopeful tone she could manage. Which wasn't actually saying much.
