Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

There were plenty of tables and chairs scattered around the lawn for anyone who wanted to sit down once they'd had their fill of the buffet, or to recover from starting to find out what this place was all about. No one would judge the need to take a mental breather.

Some of the tables were out in the open, for those who weren't allergic to the sun, and some of the tables were in the shade, or far from the rest of the crowd for those who needed a little more space to process. Wherever people decided to rest, there was space enough for everyone.

[OOC: This is part two of the picnic, separated in an effort to save our browsers for as long as possible. Part one, to run into siblings, roommates and teachers, is over here, though teachers are also welcome in this post, of course. Because the picnic is outside, it is open to all students, teachers and townies.]

"I'm just saying, if people were staring, there's reasons other than trying to induce vomit," she said. Which was so sweet, really. "So, you know, do whatever you want with that information."

"Uh, I probably won't do anything with it." Because he basically had no self-esteem when it came to the romance department. "I appreciate your concern though. Gotta keep away those potential leerers."

"Yeah, happy to help." Or whatever she called this. "The good news is that if that guy Jim shows up in his underwear like he said he would, my guess is the leering is probably gonna shift for a while."

"I think if anybody showed up in their underwear they'd turn their attention away from me," he said. "Especially if it was Jim. Dude's obnoxious."

Pretty impressive coming from Stiles.

"Yeah, he is." But he'd been growing on Gert lately in spite of that. "If he does do it, he'll probably bring iPod speakers playing something dramatic to announce his entrance."
