Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

There were plenty of tables and chairs scattered around the lawn for anyone who wanted to sit down once they'd had their fill of the buffet, or to recover from starting to find out what this place was all about. No one would judge the need to take a mental breather.

Some of the tables were out in the open, for those who weren't allergic to the sun, and some of the tables were in the shade, or far from the rest of the crowd for those who needed a little more space to process. Wherever people decided to rest, there was space enough for everyone.

[OOC: This is part two of the picnic, separated in an effort to save our browsers for as long as possible. Part one, to run into siblings, roommates and teachers, is over here, though teachers are also welcome in this post, of course. Because the picnic is outside, it is open to all students, teachers and townies.]

"I don't know that that's necessarily a good person thing, but I don't think it's a bad person thing either," Alec said. "I think you balance out."

Look, just because he didn't play Dungeons & Dragons didn't mean he didn't know a thing or two about it.

"I love the way you humour me," Sparkle informed Alec, chuckling and wrapping his arms around his waist all over again. "You're not missing out on the nerd reference this time, at least. No worries."

He paused, running a hand through Sparkle's hair gently before he asked, "How's Velcro?"

"He's good. Overheated, wilting little cat-blob back in my room. Being black in weather like this isn't so great for him, apparently, but I decided not to bleach him, too."

Because that would have been a bad idea.
