Try Not to Die!!! [Tuesday, June 18, 2013, 3rd period]

Anakin and Ben were back at Portalocity. "Today we're heading to Delhi, India," Anakin said, pointing to it on a map he'd made Ben hold up. "It's very humid, very hot, and very, very crowded. Please don't get too lost during your challenges."

Though he and Ben had built in time for them to get completely turned around at least twice.

"Have fun," Ben said with a warm smile, "and, um, hope you don't love what you're wearing."

That wasn't foreboding at all, was it, class?

Covered in dye, crying from peppers--isn't class fun?

Korra wasn't entirely sure how she'd managed to acquire a bag of chilli flavoured snacks between the detour and the finish line, but somehow she had. They weren't as good as fire flakes, but still tasty.

"Oooh, snacks!"

Ben Skywalker: easily distracted.

"They're good," Korra said, offering him the bag. "Spicy."

"Oooh, I like spicy," Ben said, taking a few. "You're first, by the way."

Theo was finally drying out from getting dyed earlier but he didn't think he'd done as bad as the last few weeks, at least.

So, he'd take it...and immediately head to the showers once he found out how he'd placed.

"You're seventh today," Anakin said with a tiny smile, "and pretty colorful."

"I feel like a rainbow threw up on me," Theo said though he sounded mostly pleased because that was a much better finish than previous weeks. "I hope all this stuff comes out. I don't need multicolored hair."

"It'll come out eventually," Anakin assured him.

Okay so Maddie sort of wouldn't mind if her eyes would stop tearing (she should probably stop wiping them, really), but she wasn't frustrated and hating life by the time she got to the check-in, which probably meant she did decently.

Well. She wasn't frustrated and hating life any more than normal.

"Ho, Maddie," Ben said. "You're sixth today!" He tilted his head. "Crying from peppers or frustration?"

"Peppers," she said. "...Can I wash my hands?"

"Go ahead," Ben said, nodding.

Anakin was red-eyed, soaked all down the front of his tunic, and probably trailing a little bit of dye behind him when he made it to the check-in point.

Really, why was he related to these people again?

"You're eighth today," Anakin said, "and annoyance leads to the Dark Side."

He thought he was funny.

"Oh, Force, not you too," Anakin complained, sounding betrayed.

Mostly playfully.

Anakin smiled. "It's required to make sure you remember at every moment you're alive."

Chaz was more multicolored than he usual was by the time he came to the check in, and somewhat disappointed by the lack of any tasks that would involve jumping off buildings.

"You're second today," Ben said, greeting him with a smile.

There were artistic streaks of muddled brown streaming from Raven's eyes when she got to the finish line, even, and her hands were coated in a fine, brightly colored chili powder.

"You people are evil," she said. Because this was becoming more and more clear to her with every class.

"Only on Tuesdays," Anakin replied. "You're fourth, by the way."

Mercy arrived, not too late she thought, and mostly dry if still all rainbow colored.

"Hi, Mercy!" Ben said. "You're fifth today. Well done!"

"Hey," she said tiredly. "That's good. Though I'm not sure I'll ever get all this dye out of my hair."

"I need a shower."

...still moping.
