Library, Wednesday, All Day

Sholeh was feeling oddly melancholy today. She'd awoken from a dream of home and now she couldn't shake that lingering feeling of missing people. Not that she'd had many friends beyond her sisters back home, but it was home. Where you could just take things for granted because they'd worked the same way since before you were born.

The books weren't helping today, with Crafts To Learn At Your Mother's Knee and Home Cookin' taking every opportunity to shelve themselves in other sections.

Sigh.

Radio the other day had made Ulrik curious, and so he'd stopped by Sushi Station to acquire some, well. Sushi. And a couple of bottles of Ramune (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ramune), because the other options were hot tea or alcoholic beverages, and it just seemed like a fizzy, carbonated drink sort of day.

"Greetings, oh wondrous keeper of the books," he called out exuberantly, smile faltering only briefly when he registered Sholeh's downcast demeanor.

"Hi, Ulrik," Sholeh said, mustering up a smile for him. "Is that more sushi?" She hadn't been daring enough to try the non-vegetarian rolls in Thor's class, but had regretted not being more adventurous almost as soon as the bell rang. "Is that my new title?"
