The Skywalkers were standing in the lobby of the Portalocity office like last week, looking relaxed. "Hopefully you enjoyed last week's class," Ben began. "Today the portal's going to take you to Amsterdam, the Netherlands, which is on the same continent as England last week, but in a different country."

Shh, someone had been learning about Earth geography and wanted to show off a bit.

Anakin looked dryly amused at that little aside. "Today you will have the choice of two different activities as detours, and then a roadblock that you all must complete. We will meet you at the end of the course. Remember that this is not a simulation, so if you annoy the locals, you are actually annoying locals. Avoid that. Your class begins...now."

"This time," Anakin replied. He was joking, too, but don't think he hadn't already rehashed last week's class in his head several times to figure out what he could have done differently. "For all I know you're trying to lull me into a false sense of security."

"Would we do that?" Ben asked, grinning at his grandfather.

In a heartbeat they would.

Anakin crossed his arms over his chest and gave both of them a pointed look -- he was trying to look stern, but his amusement was evident. "Some things run in the family."

"Like a wonderful sense of humor?" Ben offered.

"Yes," Anakin said, thinking of his conversation with their grandfather from a few weeks ago. "Even if it's a cultivated taste sometimes."

"It's what makes us so astral," Ben decided.

They were so modest.

"Oh, so that's our secret. I was wondering exactly what it was," Anakin said, snapping his fingers.

He'd been spending a lot of time with Tahiri; her sense of humor must be rubbing off on him, probably because she wasn't that capable of mustering it up very much right now, and he missed it.

"Well, it's not our good looks," Ben said wryly. "I mean, look at Dad's hair."

"You're hardly one to talk," said Anakin.

Who, given the current state of his own head, wasn't either.

"It's better than Zekk's!"

That was no way to grade hair, Ben.

Worst. Scale. Ever.

"That's not hard," Anakin pointed out.

"Better than Kyp's?" Ben tried.

Anakin frowned for a second, apparently thinking hard. "Debatable."

"Well now you're not my favorite male cousin any more," Ben threatened.

And Anakin was just petty enough in his sibling rivalry to look scandalized. "What do I have to do to earn that back?"

Lie!

"Tell me you like my hair."

And cue the skeptical look. "As if you wouldn't be able to tell if I was lying . . ."

Ben smiled a little evilly at him.

"Maybe."

Anakin was totally side-eyeing him. "Why does anyone else ever put up with us, again?"

"We're famous," Ben told him.

"Oh, of course. That. I forgot."

Was that sarcasm? Actually, yes.

Ben laughed. "Of course."

For a moment, Anakin remembered Cade in the dungeon from weeks ago. "Might as well resign ourselves to that, huh?"

"Pretty much," Ben said wryly. "You can always pick an alias."

Just don't let Ben pick it for you.

No, because that would be the worst idea ever.

"And wear a disguise all the time," Anakin added, with a look at Ben that said I bet you get it, "since my face is all over the HoloNet lately."
