Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part I

Whoever worked their magic to ensure that the welcome picnics had nice weather had cut their mojo very close this time around. The weather was lovely today - sunny and hot enough to make it clear that summer in Fandom had finally begun - but the overnight thunderstorms had left puddles all over the lawn that hadn't quite dried up yet.

Still, the tables and chairs had managed to be scattered around, along with the buffet table of moddable food and drinks, and the information table with name tags, the Big and Little Sibling list, and the list of new roommates. The only thing missing was people to enjoy the festivities!

[OCD is up! This is part one of the picnic, specifically for meeting siblings, roommates, and teachers. The rest of the picnic is happening here in an effort to keep browsers from breaking for as long as possible. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

"That's right," Bruce confirmed, crossing his arms awkwardly. "And you are...?"

"Uh, Tony. Tony Stark." A beat. "And no, this never gets any less weird."

"You -- really?" Wow. Well, he certainly looked enough like Tony, but without the swagger. Seriously, the lack of swagger was weird. "Sorry, I just spent the last few days staying with... another version of you. He's a little older."

Or a lot older.

Belatedly, Bruce stuck out his hand for Tony to shake. "Nice to meet you."

"If it helps, I've met a few versions of you too," Tony replied dryly, offering a hand. Well. One had been green at the time.

Bruce shook his hand, still deeply perplexed by the absence of swagger. "No teenagers, I hope?"

"Uh, one lived in town, and the other..." Tony cleared his throat. "Well, I left that one with some bruised ribs."

"Oh." Bruce still wasn't all that used to viewing the things the Other Guy did in a positive light, but that sounded... not terrible. He scratched the back of his neck, visibly awkward. "Well, then, good for him, I guess. Glad you're okay, Tony."

Seriously. How was this guy Tony?

"So you're a student here?"
