Still on family, gang. Being here, at this school, you've formed bonds. I would like a six degrees diagram of your closest relationships, followed by theirs followed by theirs. This will wind up looking like a mind map, but it's really useful in persuasive communication when you understand who knows whoand how to push those big, threatening buttons. Start now, you'll probably want to list people. The whole thing,artfully done, will be due Monday.

I'm so glad none of you feel a need to hold back in this class. That's good. I love that you express yourselves. Now...I have the video of the SotU, and we're going to watch it. Because i am a benevolent despot, we're watching it on mute. Jump in at any point and comment on the nonverbals. Gestures, expressions, body language, both positive and negative.
