Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

There were plenty of tables and chairs scattered around the lawn for anyone who wanted to sit down once they'd had their fill of the buffet, or to recover from starting to find out what this place was all about. No one would judge the need to take a mental breather.

Some of the tables were out in the open, for those who weren't allergic to the sun, and some of the tables were in the shade, or far from the rest of the crowd. Wherever people decided to rest, there was space enough for everyone.

[OCD is up! This is the post for general mingling! Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here! Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

"Yeah, you do that," Natalie replied, wrapping a blonde strand or two around her fingers, and absently examining them.

She'd almost been a redhead, you know. "Of course if there happened to be a lot of teenage angst on your staff, you should probably reconsider your choices anyway."

"The opposite, actually," Peter said. "Most of the big up-and-comers are teenagers these days."

"And how many of them are prone to teen angst?" Natalie retorted. "Well, apart from your bouts of whining. But I think that might be a personality thing rather than age-related."

He rolled his eyes. "Wait until you meet one of those clowns, you'll take that back." Bean.
