Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

There were plenty of tables and chairs scattered around the lawn for anyone who wanted to sit down once they'd had their fill of the buffet, or to recover from starting to find out what this place was all about. No one would judge the need to take a mental breather.

Some of the tables were out in the open, for those who weren't allergic to the sun, and some of the tables were in the shade, or far from the rest of the crowd. Wherever people decided to rest, there was space enough for everyone.

[OCD is up! This is the post for general mingling! Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here! Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

"I don't know," Snow said, uncertain. "I should try to get home. But I do not know how, and I think I was brought here for a reason. The magpies led me to a circle of light that brought me here."

She looked at Ikol, hoping she could get an answer from the bird.

Ikol responded by ruffling his feathers in a very animal-like gesture.

"They are fickle creatures," Loki assured her. "But perhaps it is for the best. This island is good for, ah, fresh starts."

"I cannot abandon my kingdom," Snow said. "But I do have much to learn. I have spent the past several years imprisoned. I must be strong to face Ravenna."

"Ravenna." Well, that wasn't even trying to be subtle. Then again he was Loki. Pot, kettle. "You can learn here," Loki assured her. "Perhaps better than most."

Just don't touch Thor. He would choke a bitch if his brother was touched.

Snow was certainly going to have a reaction to Thor, oh yes.

"It almost seems like a dream," Snow said. "The people have been so kind, and the food. . . . I am afraid I am going to wake up back in the tower. Have you been here very long?"

Which was going to be a huge relief when it came to things like having to operate a washing machine.

"Oh, there is one for everyone," Loki replied. "I am certain your brother or sister must be on the hunt for you so that they are not remiss in their duties."

"I'll have to find him or her then," Snow said, smiling at Loki (and Ikol). "Thank you, Loki. You have been very helpful to me."

Once she discovered Google she'd be entering "How do I defeat Queen Ravenna?" in it, and it would be all your fault, Loki.

"Two hundred and six, I will remember that," Snow said.

Snow laughed. "I have already found the food," she said. "The fruit and cake were wonderful, but some of it looked so strange to me." Like the neon orange things Cade had warned her about. That color did not exist in any nature she'd ever seen.
