Cassidy was in a reasonably cheerful mood as she moved around, reshelving books and corralling the occasional misbehaving book. She hadn't had a date to prom the night before, but she and Shira had hung out together. They'd had dinner with Elle and then retreated to hang out in Shira's room. It'd been a pleasant evening, something they'd all needed.

"Oh, no you don't!" Cassidy yelped, grabbing for a book as it tried to make a getaway from the cart she'd just put it on. "You stay there. You're going back where you belong, thank you very much."

She was pretty sure that if the book could've blown raspberries at her, it would have. Oh, well.

April had only wanted to stay awake for so long after her waffle breakfast with her kid, so she'd dropped Hillary off at the library and then returned to her apartment to nap.

Bizarrely, Hillary seemed to hate the library for some reason or another, but with a scowl on her face, she found a book about women in government and reluctantly sat down to read it all the same.

The library was awful (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nS8r6zQs62I). Her other mom always said so. It was a thing.
