Flight- Monday- 3rd period

The students were back in the flight shed today, where Jaina was waiting. "Today we're going to cover something that most of you have been or will be on for any real time on this planet: a commercial jet, specifically a Boeing 747," she began. "And I don't want to hear any of that 'But we can use portals' stuff. I don't care. This is a passenger craft, designed to carry a lot of people a long distance in a relatively short amount of time. You're going to be carting between 400 and 650 people usually, plus their cargo, plus crew, so it's big enough that it's going to handle very differently than what you're used to."

She gave them a quick rundown of how to use the controls, then continued, "You're going to take off, fly for a bit, and then land, all without crashing. If you think you can do that, my scores are recorded, so you can go ahead and try to do better."

Anakin had his datapad out and was working on his battlebot code for Industrial Arts while he waited, but never let it be said that he wasn't capable of multitasking: he was also wishing that Dad had let him fly the Falcon (which inevitably made him think of Chewie, which led to some brooding) so he'd have more experience with bulky transports like this.

Though in his opinion that plane did not look terribly exciting.
