Advanced Journalism (Tuesday, February 14 - 2nd period)
Rita's classroom was very pink.
There were what appeared to be small, sparkling, soft pink insects floating near the ceiling, and pink and red streamers waving with an odd twinkling quality. There was also a small bowl of jelly beans on her desk.
"Turn in your obituaries," Rita said, looking decidedly out of patience. "Who did you write about? Why? How did you imagine they died?"

Re: Discussion/Presentation/Rita-Antagonization
Steve shook his head at John. /Seriously, dude? You do not want a snack. Trust me. As for advice, don't piss off people who'll turn you into a dog./
Re: Discussion/Presentation/Rita-Antagonization
/Full, dude. Ate a lot earlier./
Turning to Steve, he wags his tail. /Who says I'm pissing them off? It's fun to mess with Skeeter./
Re: Discussion/Presentation/Rita-Antagonization
Steve just shook his head. /Yeah, but you're a dog. And that girl who follows us around is shoving her phone at you, taking pictures./
It was true that Rory had, in fact, just snapped a picture.
Re: Discussion/Presentation/Rita-Antagonization
John waves a paw at Steve. /She's been taking pictures of me for the past three weeks. I'm used to it. Besides, it's nice to be remembered for something./
Re: Discussion/Presentation/Rita-Antagonization
Steve rolled his eyes. /What if you end up stuck as a dog?/
Re: Discussion/Presentation/Rita-Antagonization
/In a pocket? Where else have you been, Vladdie?/
John scoffs, or rather, barks at Steve. /A risk I'm willing to take. C'mon, Skeeter has it coming!/
Re: Discussion/Presentation/Rita-Antagonization
/The other dog,/ Steve said helpfully. /He's talking about the little black Lab with the tall broody guy./
Re: Discussion/Presentation/Rita-Antagonization
And then he asks Steve the burning question. /What's a cat doing being an imaginary friend to dogs?/
Re: Discussion/Presentation/Rita-Antagonization
Steve shrugged. /I have nothing better to do, and the little freak entertains me./
Re: Discussion/Presentation/Rita-Antagonization
Re: Discussion/Presentation/Rita-Antagonization
Yes, he said 'omg.'
Re: Discussion/Presentation/Rita-Antagonization
/Can Sean see you too?/
Re: Discussion/Presentation/Rita-Antagonization
Vladdie hovered over to Rita and licked her nose.
Rita glared. And then patted him, because even she liked puppies.
Re: Discussion/Presentation/Rita-Antagonization
Noticing that Vladdie's over with Rita, John trots over and plants his hindquarters on Rita's foot.
Re: Discussion/Presentation/Rita-Antagonization
Rita stared down at John. "Get off my foot, Mr. Crichton," she said, petting Vladdie some more.
Re: Discussion/Presentation/Rita-Antagonization
Re: Discussion/Presentation/Rita-Antagonization
Rita flicked her wand at John quickly to change him back and then moved out of Vladdie's path. Quicklyish.
Re: Discussion/Presentation/Rita-Antagonization
Damn, he almost misses that.
"Thanks, teacher. Good one this time."
Re: Discussion/Presentation/Rita-Antagonization
Rory gave a sharp whistle, and Vladdie flew back to his bag. She peered at John. "Could you see Steve?"
Re: Discussion/Presentation/Rita-Antagonization
Turning to Rory, John says, "Yep. He's not imaginary. Or he is to us but not to Vladdie. He's real."
Re: Discussion/Presentation/Rita-Antagonization
Re: Discussion/Presentation/Rita-Antagonization
Nada.
"Well, Steve's...a feline."
