Philosophy 201- Monday- 1st period

Welcome back to your usual bodies, boys and girls! The class would find Jaye at the front of the Danger Shop Theater without any comment on anything that had happened this weekend, because sometimes Jaye could appear kind.

"It's Monday again, sorry about that," she said. "We're gonna take a little departure from our usual romcom thing, because I just so happened to find this movie this morning and thought it was a little more appropriate. Also, I want you to write a little bit on your philosophy of self." What did that mean? Who knew. A lot of philosophy was really just selling words that didn't all make sense together. "Have that in by the end of class."

And then she started the movie, because sometimes you needed a reminder that she was a terrible person.

Those were some karking terrifying looking women. Wow.

Cade decided everyone in this movie was brain damaged for believing this for even three seconds.

Percy almost felt embarrassed for the three guys because of how bad they looked. But seriously, how could anyone not tell that they weren't girls? It was obvious!

Juliet was vaguely disgusted all through the movie. She watched RuPaul's Drag Race and some of those girls were beautiful, but these guys weren't even trying. Somebody needed to tell them about waxing and moisturizer.

Jessica was metaphorically patting herself on the back for being a much more successful male-to-female change than these guys. Sure, she had help with it being on a genetic level, but still.

Percy...didn't know what that meant. So, he wrote what he hoped would pass.

Dressing in drag is not myself so I will never do that. It seems to work for other people and that's cool but I think I'd dress break an ankle wearing anything with a heel.

...not that I've thought about it.

Jessica wrote two pages on the philosophy of self. It was four paragraphs, each one starting with the letters of 'self.' Paragraph one was 'Since.' Two was 'Ergo.' Three was 'Lest.' And the final paragraph was 'Finally.'

It was mostly semi-coherent gibberish, but she had fun.
