Sociology - Sex Cultures: 6th Period

Grissom's students find a note on the Sociology lab door that they should meet in Danger Shop.

When they arrive, they find that a performance area has been set up for them, complete with room for an audience.

"Welcome, everyone! I'm glad you made it. I know that you have all been working hard on your presentations, so I wanted to give you the opportunity to share them with your fellow students. We'll begin in a few minutes, and I'll let the audience in. Happy Valentine's Day!"

After three women leave him standing alone at the altar, Shep heads for the snacks hoping that something in there was possibly alcoholic. He really needed a drink after that debacle.

After her *second* marriage ceremony of the day, Lana goes over to find Shep. She wraps her arms around him and buries her head in his chest. "I'm so sorry," she whispers.

Shep laughs. "This whole thing is such a joke. Though... Phoebe didn't look so good. What's her story?"

Lana *handwavey* explains about Phoebe and the marriage contract she had to sign with Crowley to keep Bel safe and all the ensuing craziness, knowing Shep will understand.

She sighs, still resting her head on his shoulder. "Makes all my problems seem pretty small, huh? Thank you, by the way for all my beautiful gifts, the miniature rosebush and the chocolate. You didn't need to do all that."

Shep snickers. He wanted to do it, that wasn't it. But he also knew that it was Valentine's Day. Girls say stuff like 'you didn't have to do that', but *guys* know that if they don't they'll get their ass kicked.

And he's had enough romance drama for one day.

"'Course I didn't, that's what makes me such a nice guy," he quips with a smile.

"I know," she says quietly. "I'm pretty damn lucky to have you." She's quiet for a moment. "And I'm sorry I ran out on you after I kissed you. I didn't mean - it wasn't you, it was just me suddenly realizing about a million people were watching me make out with you on stage and I panicked."
