Cally grabs a particularly generous plate of pasta and a few heart shaped cookies. "So... wanna pick somewhere to sit?"

Anders grabs some of the strawberries and chocolate, as well as the non-alcoholic (sadly) champagne, and picks out a table. "Guess I'm gonna have to sit next to you if we're sharing, huh?" he asks, poking the tip of his tongue out between his teeth playfully. "Wow. That's gonna be so hard."

"What, sitting next to me?" Cally raises an eyebrow. "If you want, I'll sit in your lap, instead. But I might get in the way." She sticks her own tongue out back at Anders.

"That'll make eating messy." Anders shakes his fork at her, takes a seat, and pats the space next to him. "C'mon. Eating time for me and my goofball."

"Wait, I'm the goof today?" Cally sits down next to Anders and sticks her fork in the spaghetti. "Or is today double goof day or something?"

"We're both goofballs all the time," says Anders, nodding solemnly and lifting a forkful of spaghetti, ready to feed it to Cally. "We share that too. Like this spaghetti -- whoa, long noodles. I'm gonna get tired twirling it around the fork here."

"I mock you and your spaghetti twirling," Cally says before just stabbing into the pasta and starts chewing on some of the spaghetti.

It appears some of these particular noodles are still attached to the mass on the rest of the plate.

"I can't do that," says Anders. "The noodles end up all over my chin and my shirt and I make a big huge mess." He watches her for a second, amused, and tries to wind up the spaghetti a little more on the tines of his fork before finally giving up and just putting the forkful into his mouth, slurping up the noodles that are still dangling down into the plate.

Or trying, anyway.

Cally nods a little as she continues to chew on her spaghetti... wow, these noodles are really long.

Anders keeps slurping away at the spaghetti noodles as he leans over and wraps an arm around Cally. He feels kind of silly doing this, but he likes sharing with her.

Which appears to be the case here, since it now looks like they're working on opposite ends of the same noodle.

The corner of Cally's mout perks up into a smirk when she sees what's happening, and happily speeds up her eating, rapidly approach the point where the two shall meet...

For once, Anders has the sense to not talk with his mouth full, so he doesn't ask what she's smirking at. Besides, he's figured it out anyway, and grins back at Cally as he works on his end of the spaghetti noodle, taking his time just a little bit to tease her but hurrying up anyway.

For some reason he feels like the Swedish Chef should be singing to them or something.

And then the two come together, the spaghetti forgotten as their lips meet in a sweet kiss, a soft caress of love and affection. They linger, all too briefly, before Cally pulls back with a smile.

"Best. Spaghetti. Ever."

"Definitely," Anders says, squeezing her shoulder. He pokes his fork back into the spaghetti and stirs it around experimentally before picking up a piece of meatball and holding it up to Cally's lips. "Wonder if we can do that again?"

Cally bites the meatball bit and chews thoughtfully. "It's good to know that if I ever lose my arms in a disfiguring accident, you've got the whole baby feeding me thing down." Cally grins evilly. "Or, you know, if we ever have a baby."

The fork hits the table with a loud clink, or at least as loud as a clink can get, really.

"If we ever what?"

"Have a baby," Cally says with a nod. She's trying not to laugh. She's having to try really hard, though.

"That?" Anders's voice suddenly went up an octave or two. "Not happening for at least, like, um."

He swallows hard. Because it's not like he's ever actually thought about this, which might have something to do with the fact that he's in no way ready to think about it, even though he has this very vague notion in the back of his mind that wow, that'd be a cute baby.

"Okay, this is so not a conversation I'm ready to be having right now."

"Now if it were a boy, we could call it Sammy junior, and a girl, well, we could name it Samantha. And you could teach it how to play Pyramid, and I..." Cally's just begging for Anders to freak out...

"Cally!" yelps Anders, burying his face in his hands and rocking back and forth just a little bit in his seat. "This conversation? Not. Happening. Now. We are so not -- and I -- andwearenotnamingababyafterme and -- oh, lords."

There are a few muffled whimpers coming from behind his hands.

Cally reaches a hand up and starts rubbing the back of Anders' neck.

"Okay, okay, I took that too far. But you don't need to cry about it, sheesh. We obviously don't need to have a baby when you're enough of one already...."

Anders peeks out from between his fingers and scowls at Cally a little bit. "Hey. Not crying. I just think my brain broke a little bit there."

"Hey, you admitted you have a brain!" Cally grins. "This is the first step to recovery for you calling yourself stupid, you know that?"

"Course I have one." Anders sticks his tongue out at her. "It's just like . . . an ignored muscle group or something, 'cause it doesn't get enough exercise."

Cally sticks her tongue out at Anders right back. "Well, I'll just have to make sure you start diversifying your training."
