Anders peeks out from between his fingers and scowls at Cally a little bit. "Hey. Not crying. I just think my brain broke a little bit there."

"Hey, you admitted you have a brain!" Cally grins. "This is the first step to recovery for you calling yourself stupid, you know that?"

"Course I have one." Anders sticks his tongue out at her. "It's just like . . . an ignored muscle group or something, 'cause it doesn't get enough exercise."

Cally sticks her tongue out at Anders right back. "Well, I'll just have to make sure you start diversifying your training."

"Well, yeah. That's why I'm here, right?" Anders props his chin up on one hand. "Well, theoretically anyway. I'm workin' on it, honest. Professor Dream liked my translation in Classics today."

"Good for you," Cally says, placing a hand on Anders' shoulder. "See? You're awesome. Yes... How did we get on this topic?"

"I --" Anders opens his mouth to say something and then shuts it, not wanting to have to go over the baby thing again. "Doesn't matter. We should just eat and then get ready for sociology."

"Yep. We get married today. Just... not to each other." Cally laughs. "In customs that are so very not our own!"

Anders laughs and leans over to give Cally another kiss. "Good thing it's not for real, huh? Not sayin' I'm, you know, ready to marry you yet, but that doesn't really mean I wanna marry someone else either."

"Yep. It's very good that it's not real. Because I'd have to shoot Izzie." Cally nods. "So... off to get ready?" she asks, already standing up.

"Ready as I'll ever be, I guess." Anders polishes off the last meatball and wraps the cookies, strawberries, and chocolate in a napkin before tucking them into the front pocket of his sweatshirt and standing up. He reaches out to grab Cally's hand and kiss it. "Hey -- love you, y'know."

"Love you too, y'know," Cally says, twisting her hand around to take hold of Anders' "Let's go, huh?" With that, she tugs Anders gently towards the door as they begin to leave.
