Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

There was the bonfire for everyone who thought Maryland in January was a little too cool for their taste, as well as the moddable warm food and drinks, and chairs and tables in the school colors of blue and gold. Some tables were also set a little further away from the crowds.

Because there were always people who preferred the fringes.

Stiles nodded. "It works out surprisingly well. But I've had ADHD my whole life, I've spazzed out at way less than dinosaurs and talking ponies."

"I think Old Lace feels a little less special now," Gert quipped.

Old Lace was preoccupied by trying to lightly bat at Puppy Joe's foot with her snout as if to verify that he really was actually that short.

"Well I'm pretty sure Old Lace is the only dinosaur on island so there's still that," Stiles said, looking down at where Puppy Joe was sniffing at Old Lace curiously. "Seriously though if your dinosaur eats that dog I'm going to be in real trouble."

"She won't," Gert promised. "She's a pretty good listener."

She'd have to be, since the two of them had a telepathic link.

"Unless the dog is a murderous vampire or something," she added.

"Nah, he's cool." The owner on the other hand... "So I guess you'll settle into Fandom pretty quick since you're used to weird."

"Oh yeah, totally," Stiles said. "It's easy to adjust when you're used to weird stuff at home."

Well. "I guess I can't be surprised, considering I met a vampire a few weeks ago. Just tell me your werewolves aren't as creepy and cliche."
