Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

There was the bonfire for everyone who thought Maryland in January was a little too cool for their taste, as well as the moddable warm food and drinks, and chairs and tables in the school colors of blue and gold. Some tables were also set a little further away from the crowds.

Because there were always people who preferred the fringes.

"I'm gonna call it good. He's kind of adorable," Stiles said. "How have you been lately? I've been caught up in stuff at home so I haven't had much of a chance to catch up here."

"I've been all right. I think I've finally settled into the status quo." Yes, it had taken this long but in her defense this place was weird. "How have you been?"

"Ugh. Home stuff got out of hand. It's better now but still...ugh," he said, shaking his head. "Don't get involved with werewolf drama, just don't."

"Wasn't planning on it," Sia said honestly. "Are you all right?"

At least he had an adorable cotton ball with legs to cuddle.

"Yeah, I'm fine," he said. "It was just intense there for awhile but it's fine now."

Pfft no it wasn't.

"I don't think I'll be bringing people home to visit for awhile though. Or ever."

"How many others did you bring?" she asked, wondering if there were a bunch of people around who had new werewolf trauma.

"Just the one," Stiles said. "And he's already used to that sort of stuff so it could have been worse but still. I'm not here to freak people out about my general existence."

"It'd also be better if things at home would just stay smoothed out," she said.

And this was from the one who didn't hear about the stuff that went on there.

"Ha! No chance of that happening," Stiles said. "I'm not that lucky. According to the creepy middle-aged man that I've been texting there's more trouble on the horizon."

There was a brief pause.

"The creepy middle-aged man might qualify as a friend now so there's nothing to be worried about."

"Well I guess that's within your sisterly rights." And probably for the best considering Peter had kidnapped Stiles before.
